We are pleased to announce the Parkland Sharks have joined the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches.

The CLPB is primarily a developmental league for players who need the opportunity to enhance their skills.  The Sharks will be scheduled for 36 games, with a coaching staff that can provide  players with the tutelage they need to make an impact when they return to school in the Fall.
Sharks President Jeff Kunion has over 30 years experience in baseball, including 12 seasons as coach and player personnel director for minor league and collegiate league teams.  He knows both sides of the baseball equation, having worked on and off the field   He started his career working seven seasons in the NY Mets business office.  He has owned and operated four minor league teams and two collegiate level teams.  He has coached in the Can-Am League, the Frontier League, the NYCBL and PGCBL.  His last position was serving as the President of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) from 2010 – 2017.

“Jeff brings a tremendous amount of experience in baseball to the CLPB. His knowledge of collegiate summer baseball specifically will be a huge addition to our league. Jeff has also demonstrated the desire to help kids grow, and make strides in their baseball careers. Overall this is a great thing for our league and we look forward to seeing the Sharks on the field in the summer of 2020.” Jeremy Plexico CLPB
